Current and Former Fellows

The Museum has supported more than fourteen hundred researchers since the fellowship program began in 1951. Many of the participants have gone on to become professors, curators, conservators, or directors of institutions in the museum and academic worlds. Learn more about the work of some of our fellows in the current issue of The Met Fellowship Program Newsletter.

The fellows' backgrounds and research reflect the global reach of the Museum's collection. Explore the fellows' research as well as the Museum's international relationships in The Met Around the World.
